Just about everyone wants to lose some extra fat on some part of their body, but most people have the most problems out of burning belly fat off. And most people want to lose that belly bulge fast! If you want to admit it or not, most of us spend the too many weeks out of the year overeating, and when the first sign of warm weather comes around, we scramble to lose what we have accumulated. But, burning belly fat is not exactly a quick fix.
The problem is that fat around the belly is made up of what is known as stubborn fat. It is one of the hardest to lose and we overlook how difficult it can be to get rid of it.
It is not your fault that this fat is stubborn. Your body is actually made this way. It is the part of the body that needs the most protection. It is there to protect your internal organs and internal structures. So, your body is going to do everything it can to hold onto that fat around your abdominal area. This is the first place your body stores fat.
But the good news is that you can outsmart this, and you are going to have to work hard to do so. But it can be done. You just need to have realistic expectations about how fast you are going to lose the belly fat and how hard you are going to have to work.
Exercise for Burning Belly Fat
The first thing that you need to do is hit the weights. When you start lifting make sure you are lifting the heaviest amount of weights as you can. This will help boost your metabolism to the highest level. Shoot for the 6-10 rep range.
The next thing that you need to do is get the cardio up. But don’t do hours and hours of cardio workouts. Focus on doing sprints at first, then doing the slower cardio workouts. Doing sprints will help release the fatty acids from the tissue so that you can burn the fat off when doing the slower, steady workouts. This has shown to be way more effective to burning belly fat than doing steady cardio workouts alone.
Belly Fat Diet
The last thing that you need to get in order is your diet. Too many fat or carb calories will slow progress. But protein will help because your body burns calories just by digesting. But be careful. It can be taken too far. Do not exceed 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight. But keep your intake right under that amount to see best results. Then you can fill the remainder of your total calorie intake with carbs right after working out, and then the complete with fat calories when not working out.
If you are patient and keep pushing yourself to work out, I see no reason for you not to get rid of the belly fat…and even get a six pack. Burning belly fat can be hard, but it is well worth the results.
